The FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards celebrate  the tech industry’s most exceptional talent, creating role models to inspire the next generation from the UK and beyond.

Dr Paula Carey started her career in academia and co-founded Carbon8 with her colleague Professor Colin Hills. Together they developed and transformed their initial research into the decarbonisation solution presented to industry today. Paula says, “I am excited and honoured to be a finalist amongst all of the other incredible nominees. It is awards like this that spotlight the progress that technology industries are making and, indeed still need to make, towards equality and diversity. But, they also represent a moment to thank and recognise some of the incredible work that my team and colleagues have been doing.”
