RIG extends its portfolio 03/06/08

RIG has expanded its portfolio of software companies that influence the marketing space by partnering with Acuate, the data quality management experts, following a successful initial engagement.

Acuate was founded late 2006 by Anish Raivadera, formerly a director of QAS which was sold to Experian. Having won a number of blue-chip companies in its first year, Acuate is now looking to accelerate the switch from being a product focused company to a commercial sales and marketing organisation.

RIG will use the first few months to execute a mix of demand generation activities, capitalising on Acuate's credentials as a disruptive player in the data quality space. The strategy will focus on reinforcing key messages (through the website, PR, events, direct sales and networks) to a small number of target markets, in a way which can be scaled up as Acuate builds its sales and marketing resources.
