Applications for the 2013 internship programme are now closed.

To apply for an internship, please send your CV and a cover letter to Jessica Tayenjam at jessica@rapidinnovation.co.uk. Please indicate why you think you would be excited by Rapid Innovation Group’s culture and work, and what you believe you can bring to the organisation.

We will get back to you shortly after receiving your details, and invite successful applicants to a first round interview. Recruitment will occur on an ongoing basis from January 2013, so we encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible.

First Round Interviews

Interviews for 2013 positions will begin in January 2013. These will take place in Cambridge, London, and Oxford and will involve a discussion around your background, interests, and motivations. The interview will also give you the chance to find out about the nature of our work and our culture in more detail.

Second Round Interviews

These provide an opportunity for candidates who have impressed us in the first round to come and meet the firm’s Managing Director and other senior consultants. In addition to further questions regarding your motivations, we will use a case study to assess your ability to think strategically.

Summer Internships

RIG offers a limited number of paid internships to highly-motivated, analytical, creative undergraduates from any discipline who are looking to gain experience by supporting our senior consultants on live client projects.

The RIG internship programme offers a rare opportunity to understand the nature of the management consultancy industry from the entrepreneur’s point of view.

Interns will be expected to develop an understanding of several different clients’ businesses and contribute to their growth strategies. They will represent RIG alongside our senior consultants at client meetings and assist them in the management and execution of projects.

Both the start date and length of the internship are negotiable.

Applicants

Applicants may be from any degree discipline, but will display one or more of the following traits: entrepreneurial, driven, credible, a keen sense of humour and comfortable in both corporate and small business environments.
They must be able to work quickly and accurately and have good interpersonal skills. Strong verbal skills and first-rate written communication are essential. The ability to take a structured approach to problem-solving, as well as simultaneously undertake and manage multiple tasks, is desirable.

The nature of our business is such that our work is not just contained within the UK. A confident understanding of one or more foreign languages would therefore be an advantage, but it is by no means obligatory.

Applications for the Summer 2013 programme will be accepted from 1 October 2012. Interviews will begin from January 2013. Recruitment will occur on an ongoing basis, so we encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible.

Work Experience

RIG also offers a limited number of work experience opportunities throughout the year to highly-motivated undergraduates and graduates from any discipline who are looking to gain experience by supporting our senior consultants on live client projects.
